Daughter of La Voz Popular, Mujb'ab'l Yol, continues to give voice to the marginalized sectores of the Guatemalan population through cultural and socio-educative programming. It is still operating illegally due to the current and restrictive communicaiton laws. Working towards decentralising the power of the media in Guatemala, making community-based radio available to strengthen rather than erode Mayan culture and language, and educating people about the peace accords |
