general information
|
Founded in 1998, ACACE aims to provide small, low-interest loans and educational support to rural entrepenurial women's collectives. One of the smaller and more radical of the micro-credit. Most of the projects funded are collective agricultural projects within a given community.
Developed in 1998 with an Australian Hugh Kinimonth and Erin McLachlan we have given six groups loans, 70 in total. All loans are accompanied by a yeasr long training program in self-esteem, gender equality, leadership and accounting. The loan term is 12 months with a 2% interest monthly. Also known as SDGE. |
