The objectives of La Hortaliza are:
1. To teach basic skills pertaining to simple agriculture a. Preparation of compost and soil c. Preparation of vegetable gardens d. Planting and caring for vegetables and potted plants 2. To garnish an income from sales for direct benefit to area children 3. Developement of an exemplary permaculture and medicinal plant branch of the garden to be used as a teaching tool to area families |
