Includes agricultural, poultry, and pig farming demonstration areas, an interpretive trail in the forest, a botanical garden of medicinal plants, a volunteer project for foreigners, a Spanish school, and a large project for the environment directed at all the schools of San Andrés. Project objectives: To maintain a botanical garden for the preparation of medicinal products to benefit the community. To establish an area for the production of shampoo, creams, medicines, dyes, etc. To establish a place, within San Andrés, for consultations and treatments. Work with a local women´s group who maintain their medicinal plant garden within our ecological park as well as make medicines, shampoos, soaps within the park. |
