Along with our Capacity Building and IT Skills Training Courses for local NGOs, our Volunteer Placement Programme and free-of-charge classified advertisements for volunteer recruitment in our magazine, EntreMundos also provides a wealth of other services and resources to our local partner organisations in Guatemala. The Training and Resource Centre
In our Training and Resource Centre, NGO staff are encouraged to use our drop-in computer lab facilities free-of-charge to search for online information beneficial to their organisation or simply for additional training in computing skills. They are also welcome to browse our library of training materials and development literature and to liase with EntreMundos staff.
Directory of Social Services
An online directory of NGOs active in Guatemala, arranged by field of work and then alphabetically, with all necessary contact information as well as a description of the type of work and projects that each undertakes to encourage information sharing and collaboration amongst local NGOs.
Advice Service
EntreMundos also provides online information and advice on local and international fundraising and how to structure grant proposals and letters of enquiry to potential donors.
Funding Database
The Funding Research Database is a database of funding organisations, both national and international, including contact information, and details of the type of projects that each is particularly interested in. This database was compiled to assist local NGOs in the region to more easily and efficiently access funding opportunities for their organisations.
Conferencing and Networking Facilities
At our offices in El Espacio, EntreMundos also provides conferencing and networking facilities to local NGOs and regularly acts as a host venue for fundraising events for our partner organisations.
