Wherever you are in the world it\u2019s great to have your go-to-nights! Here\u2019s a weekly breakdown of our favorite famous nights<\/strong> in Quetzaltenango as well as some impressive newcomers that will never let you down.<\/p>\n

Weeknights in Xela<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Looking for a cheap night to kick off the week? Head down to the roof terrace at Kasa Kiwi and mix up some great views with 2 for 1 offers on micheladas and a host of beers and spirits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For any artisanal beer lovers, this may be one of the cheapest nights in all of Central America to get your fill, with various Brooklyn and Rogue brews on offer for as little as two for Q35.<\/p>\n

Plus, they\u2019ll deep fry your burrito! Tacorazon is known for its ethical business practices and organic sourcing. It pays employees a rare fair wage.<\/p>\n

Tuesday is a regular home for stray ex-pats seeking out cheap drinks, so come down to meet some new mates as well.<\/p>\n

Looking for an evening with slightly more sophistication? Bajo la Luna is your place, with a great selection of wine all 20% off and the feel of a cozy cave. In addition to your standard red or white, they\u2019re packing mimosas, gl\u00fchwein, kalimotxos and sangria.<\/p>\n

With some of the best burgers and fondue in town, you can head for dinner and see where the night takes you. This is the best date night in Xela<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Another tried and tested night, this time brought to you by El Cuartito, brings you Xela\u2019s favorite independent musicians<\/strong>. Their chilled beer garden becomes a buzzing music venue to host an electric atmosphere for Thursday nights.<\/p>\n

With beer fridges packed full of local delights and microbrews and some great nacho options, El Cuartito has everything for a great Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Shamrock is the place to be Friday night! Kick-off the night with a top local acoustic artist from 8 till 10pm, followed by DJ DIZAM (our favorite in town) from 11 till 1am.<\/p>\n

Think you\u2019ve tried every drink? Perfect place to find something unique with Shamrock\u2019s very own Irish Tequila<\/strong>. Shamrock is also known for serving up food with organic ingredients (try the pupusas!), hosting fundraisers and maintaining ethical business practices.<\/p>\n

A great spot to start a boozy Saturday night, with some of Xela\u2019s best rock bands on show<\/strong>. Followed up by a DJ at 11pm, Shamrock can take you right through to the early morning.<\/p>\n

When in Ireland, drink Guinness! Whether it\u2019s your go to drink at home or you will be trying for the first time you can also get your hands on the famous Irish beverage in Shamrock.<\/p>\n

A big favorite among locals here, this is the perfect place if you are keen for something a bit different.<\/p>\n

A new addition to our selection of events here, but sure to be a big hit! Kasa Kiwi will be serving up either churrasco or tacos <\/strong>, courtesy of Tortumbo and Tacorazon, 12-3pm every Sunday.<\/p>\n

Top this off with ping pong and beer pong up on the terrace, this is the perfect spot for Sunday day drinking.<\/p>\n

Live Music \u2013 Tec\u00fan \u2013 7\/8pm to 10pm (Pasaje Enriquez) Zone 1<\/u><\/h3>\n

For chilled Sunday night you can head down to Tec\u00fan where they regularly have live music. The great food and warm atmosphere<\/strong> of the Pasaje Enriquez makes it the perfect place to relax. Tec\u00fan is known for its pizza and sometimes on Sunday the second pizza is half price!<\/p>\n

Though this is a regular event, it does not happen every Sunday, but you can check on the live music for the whole week on the whiteboards outside the bar.<\/p>\n
