PANQUEWAFFLES<\/b><\/h4>\n

Each item on the menu has been created so that you can shake up your pancake and waffle experience. Choose between Belgian waffles, waffle sandwiches, or \u201cpanquewaffles\u201d with bacon and <\/span>huevos estrellados<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

If brunch is what you\u2019re looking for, try their original recipe burgers, like the veggie burger (with a pesto grilled portobello mushroom, mixed greens, caramelized onions, dressing, and fried potatoes). XELAPAN<\/b><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/a>A Xela classic, stop by this bakery to have a traditional Guatemalan breakfast of eggs, beans, tortillas, and bread, served with different sauces, cream, and fried plantains. More than just a good option for its price, this Guatemalan breakfast normally includes tea or coffee, juice, and<\/span> atol<\/span><\/i>, a traditional Guatemalan drink.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another popular product is <\/span>xeca<\/span><\/i> bread, a Xela specialty that goes well with coffee or chocolate. You can also find <\/span>shecas<\/span><\/i> filled with jellies, cheese, beans, and eggs. You\u2019ll find XelaPan locations all over the city, but one of the largest is the Parque Central location at 12 avenida 5-44 in Quetzaltenango.<\/span><\/p>\n

ALBAMAR<\/b><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/a>A family restaurant with a homestyle touch. Here you can pick between a variety of breakfasts: ranchero style with tortillas; <\/span>huevos estrellados<\/span><\/i>; beans; and a sauce of roasted tomato, <\/span>miltomate<\/span><\/i>, and guaque chile; served with coffee. Or try a Quetzaltenango-style omelet filled with a mix of three cheeses, bacon, sausage, longanzina, or mushrooms; served with beans, plantains, cream, tortillas, and a drink. Without a doubt a full breakfast!<\/span><\/p>\n

You can also enjoy a seasonal fruit salad served with gelatin and honey or French toast stuffed with strawberry jelly, maple syrup, and butter, served with fruit and orange juice. A nice place with a Guatemalan atmosphere. You can find Albamar at 12 Avenida 7-18 in Xela near Casa Noj.<\/span><\/p>\n

BONIFAZ<\/b><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/a>Bonifaz is just to the north of Parque Central and is an elegant place to eat breakfast. Their specialty is the Sunday buffet for Q89: a great opportunity to enjoy all types of Guatemalan food in an enjoyable, clean, and comfortable environment with friendly service. The buffet begins at 7:00 am and is open until 11:00. During the week you can order breakfast <\/span>a la carte<\/span><\/i> as well as a continental breakfast.<\/span><\/p>\n
