One of the only times where you\u2019ll find Chicken Buses at similar prices to private buses. Shuttles to and from Guatemala normally offer more comfort, generally get you there faster as they are direct and tend to drive in a slightly less dangerous fashion!<\/p>\n

If you are catching a flight ensure that, for whichever mode of transport you choose, you have enough time to account for traffic. The route can take, in total, anywhere between 4 and 9 hours depending on conditions in Chilmantenango and the Capital. On the whole we would recommend the day before and staying in the city or Antigua to make sure.<\/p>\n
