Shuttles to and from Guatemala normally offer more comfort, generally get you there faster as they are direct and tend to drive in a slightly less dangerous fashion!<\/p>\n<p>If you are catching a flight ensure that, for whichever mode of transport you choose, you have enough time to account for traffic. The route can take, in total, anywhere between 4 and 9 hours depending on conditions in Chilmantenango and the Capital. On the whole we would recommend the day before and staying in the city or Antigua to make sure.<\/p>\n<p>There are various options for private bus, but we\u2019re just going to cut to the chase and give you the most popular and most reliable service from Alamo!
