These buses are air-conditioned.  They have window curtains and reclinable seats.  Tickets cost 80-120 Quetzales per person.  You can purchase on-line (must be 48 hours in advance of departure).  If you decide to purchase in-person at the ALAMO offices we recommend you go at least one day in advance so you can choose your seat.  (When there are not many passengers you can purchase up to 30 minutes before departure).  You must be present at least 20 minutes before the bus’s department time.

ALAMO offices have a waiting room (where you can be sure of safety while you await departure).  For your convenience, this transportation company has a range of departure/arrival schedules.  Buses are generally punctual at departure, occasionally they make a 15 minute stop at a restaurant at about mid-point in route giving you a chance to buy food or use a restroom.  Some of the coaches have a restroom on board.  Office hours are Monday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
